This product smells nice and my face feels very soft and smooth after using the scrub.

Yes it scrubs! Yes it cleans! But it hurts my face. Coming from cosmetology and in the field ofestheticians, they even say it's not good for you. It's too rough for your skin.

It smells ok but i'am not sure why but makes my skin break out.

I have sensitive skin, this products is too harsh for it. Also I sometimes have a reaction to the ingredients. The granules may be exfoliating, but they also leave little abrasions on the face. Not for me, but may work for someone else...

I have dry skin and this scrub makes it even worse. Its quite abrasive on my skin. I like to use it more as a foot or body scrub than face, because this is just too harsh and scratchy.
Dislike the hard beads in it.

Not a fan. I've tried this product a few times in the past and every time, I break out just a day or two after. I am not sure if this product works with every skin type.

I had been a long time user of St Ives products until this. The product works just fine and the price is completely acceptable, the issue I've been having is that of mould, in the lid of my product. Now, keep in mind this has NEVER happened to any beauty product I have owned or used. Basically, day 3 or so of having this product in my shower the entire cap inside and when the cap was removed, was filled with mould. Obviously this is an issue of the product not sealing properly, as water would continuously leak out from said cap. Needless to say I would not buy this product in the future, or recommend it to my worst enemies.

I decided to try this stuff in hopes of clearing up my skin but it tore my face up instead! I would not use this product ever again!

I did decide to use this since it did have Salicylic acid in it, which does help prevent blackheads and acne. I have been using it for a few weeks and my acne has not gone away completely and I haven't really seen a good improvement in my blackheads. However, this cleanser does exfoliate on the side so it is a plus. The smell also takes a while to get used to since its quite different from the scent of other cleansers. I also found that it did dry my skin out a little, so I only use it once a day in the morning. However, it does make my face smell nice afterwards.

Use this only about once or twice a week, makes your skin feel refreshed and new!
