good, but not great for me

The ground apricot was a little rough on my upper cheeks. I could not use this more than once a week. That being said, this scrub was effective in exfoliation and wasn't too irritating.

Love this!

I have been using this product for a long time and love it! I use it about twice a week and notice my face feeling soft and exfoliated after each use. I’ve never had any issues or irritation after using this product. Would definitely recommend.

Not for all skin types

As much as I love St. Ives products, I unfortunately don’t love the exfoliating facial scrub. I have combination skin but this really really dried out my skin and left a burning sensation. It smelled great but definitely not for all skin types.

highschool and beyond!

used this heavily during highschool and continued after - it had a bad reputation in the skin care world but i think it’s a great exfoliator and gentle enough to be used every few days or once a week! the scent is light and airy and it literally makes my skin glow after use!

Great Exfoliator

Amazing product that exfoliates without stripping skin of natural oils. I recommend this product, it is great value, especially for the price. Great to implement into skincare routine.

Perfect Exfoliator

If you have super oily and sorta rough skin, this is perfect. I keep seeing all these people talking about micro abrasions from the exfoliant; maybe you either don't need a strong exfoliant for your skin type or you're pressing too hard into your skin. Gentle strokes is all you need. I've never had an issue. I use this every other day and it seriously improves the look and feel of my skin versus not using it all. It's a value for money for me.

Great face wash!

This is a great face wash. The little beads are great at helping remove dry skin- especially in the winter months.
I have sensitive skin and it’s not irritated my skin at all. Have been using the face wash for many many years.

Very effective

I’ve used this exfoliator for years, and it’s one of my favourites. It’s very effective and leaves my skin feeling really clean and smooth. You know sometimes you use an exfoliator and there’s just not enough “bits” in it? This one has exactly the right amount. You should only use a physical (rather than chemical) exfoliant once or twice a week, and that’s plenty if you use this one. It’s pretty vigorous! It’s great, but definitely moisturise afterwards (you were going to anyway, right?) otherwise this could make your skin somewhat dry. I’d definitely recommend it.

Questionable Product

The St Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Exfoliating Facial Scrub smells great but the effectiveness of the product is questionable. Especially since the formula is know for cause microtears. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Great

St. Ives exfoliating facial scrub is effective. It is gentle for the face and removes dead skin keeping skin soft and supple. The value for the product is very affordable.
