I have been using this scrub for years, I love this product. I have always recommended it to my friends.
Its one of the best scrubs out there thats inexpensive compared to other scrubs out there (as I've tried several others). I love that it works with my combination skin without overdrying it. The scrub is gentle without leaving your skin irritated as my skin is sensitive to some products. It love the smell and the way it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.
I have used St Ives Apricot facial scrub for years and I absolutely love the body scrub! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an inexpensive body scrub. The product has a light scent lathers well and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. I love it!
This is such a great scrub! I love how smooth it makes my face feel, I started using it on my hands too because they were feeling so dry.
My only caution is to scrub lightly on your face, when I first started using this product I put too much pressure on my cheeks and they broke out a couple of times.
Very good scrub and inexpensive comparing to its effectiveness. I also like that this scrub can be also applied for combination skin and that really does not dry your skin. The scrub cleans very gently without irritations and the smell is so soft and pleasant. I will recommend that to my friends.
I was so upset to see that this product is getting such good reviews as an Esthetician this is one of the only products I will tell my clients to throw out. Apricot scrubs cause so much damage to the skin they cause little tears in the skin that over time will cause enlarged pores as well as increase your chances to infection on the skin. You are much better off using acids or spherical scrubs on the face if you want to exfoliate the dead skin away.
I love this product! I have used it for years and find it works best once a week to keep my skin looking fresh and exfoliated. Every few days if it's a particularly dry winter... It can be quite abrasive if you rub too hard or too often but it definitely does the job! I've even used it every so often on my arms and hands when I've been feeling extra flaky and it can be good to exfoliate a little before shaving to bring the hairs out (just not too much - you don't want to irritate the skin too much). I've even caught my bf using it every so often and it does wonders for his sun-damaged skin! The cost is definitely reasonable and you can find it at pretty much every store that sells face care products. One container lasts me for awhile.
I've been using this product for years and it's the only exfolient I will buy. It's not tested on animals which is a pretty big thing in my books. A lot of the ingredients are natural which is also very important to me and it smells great! It's ultra gritty which is very important to me when it comes to exfoliating. I hate those products that only have a few beads in them. USELESS!
Pros:
Not tested on animals
Mainly natural ingredients
Very inexpensive
Leaves skin silky smooth and refreshed
Smells great
Cons:
If left around for to long it begins to smell fowl (which is expected since they are natural ingredients)
I LOVE this product! It is my absolute favorite exfoliator! I know a lot of people complain about it being too rough and gritty, but that is why I love it. I can't stand to get an exfoliator and it have like 4 little grains in it. I use it about 3-4 times a week and have never had a problem with it drying out my skin. And who can't love the price???
I've tried the St. Ives Apricot Facial Scrub several times and will be honest, while the creaminess felt nice, the little granules did not! I've tried using it at the sink, as well as in the shower and I always get a granule or two in my eye. This makes me not want to go through the trouble of using it. Also, I would advise those with sensitive skin to use with caution. My oldest son tried it on more than one occasion and had bad reactions each time.
