This has become my everyday cleanser. I wouldn't suggest most people use it as often as I do, as everyones skin type is different. As well as exfoliating, it has reduced the occurance of my acne.
This is just one of those staples everyone (including men) should have in their weekly hygiene routine. I say weekly since it can be quite harsh on the skin. It is excellent in removing dead skin from the face; or anywhere else on the body as a matter of fact. However, unlike some other reviewers I prefer to use this product solely on the face (when oily) since the rest of my body tend to get too dried out from it. As for the rest of the body, I would recommend an oil based exfoliant. Just remember to use this product only once, maybe twice, but not more than three times a week since it can be quite harsh. Lastly, it's economic and gets the job done.
I get my legs and bikini waxed regularly and i ALWAYS have a problem with getting ingrown hairs, my waxer reccommended i try St Ives Apricot scrub to treat and prevent ingrowns. I have to say, that girl knows her business, it works great!! every day in the shower i use the body scrub and my occurance of ingrowns has gone way down!! the scent is great and my skin is soft and smooth!!!
Okay I am a Bath & Body Junkie! I always love finding scrubs, and exfoliaters and what not.
I have been using St. Ives Apricot Scrub for a looonnggg while now, and I keep using it. The scent isn't that strong, its nice light and refreshing. I personally find it to be a really good scrub. If you have oily skin I would recommend trying to rinse then using a body wash after. But what I basically do is apply the scrub, then rinse off. It does leave a smooth trail of skin, which is Top #1 thing I look for in a scrub.
I purchased this in a bulk pack last month at my local BJ's. The price is right and it does a good job at exfoliating your skin. However the peach scent is a little over powering. I used this is the shower to exfoliate dry patches on my heels also. If scent were improved this would be perfect.
i haven't used this product for a few years but i used to really like it.
Thanks for reminding me about it!
I loved the feel of the scrubby little grains that really worked to exfoliate and revive my skin. And it smelled so good too.
This is the best scrub ever...they have new formulations of the product so they have this one which is the original and now they have one for sensitive skin, a renew and refirm one, and a blemish fighting one....
Currently I use the renew and refirm one...I find it works the best for my skin type...leaving my face feeling baby soft...
I recommend using it in the shower a couple times a week...
This scrub works wonders on my face to remove dirt and grime from my pores. I use it only about once a week and it has kept my skin looking great and feeling so soft. The smell of this product is really nice as well.
This apricot scrub works great. It makes your skin feel smooth and soft after using it. When even I need an exfoliator, I buy this one because I know it works for me and it smells lovely too. But like with any exfoliator, don't scrub too hard, just gently. This product is definitely worth trying and you might even stick to it like me.
I picked up this product at a discount store because I needed something new to use on my face. I have lots of dry skin on my face and this product worked wonders. I used it once and nearly all the dead skin on my face was gone. The scent is wonderful. It smells exactly like apricot, and the exfoliating feel, is very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a high end product for a discount price.
