I'm afraid I'm rather lazy when it comes to exfoliating, but using this apricot scrub about once a week does wonders for my skin. Some find the texture too harsh, but I don't find that to be the case and maybe it has to do with the fact that I only use it once a week. On a lazy Saturday or Sunday evening, I really take my time gently scrubbing my face with this product, apply a good night cream, and wake up to amazingly softer skin. I really don't think that expensive peels or facials are worth it as long as you remain dedicated to this once or twice a week ritual. Definitely recommend. How can you resist the price?

I love this product!! My favorite kind would be the 'Renew and Refirm,' it is usually harder to find on the shelves for some reason. I find it to be gentler on the skin. This product, however, does a great job exfoliating for a fraction of the price of other exfoliators on the market. It leaves my skin feeling very clean and soft with no tightness after. Definitely worth a try!

This product is incredible! i found it on sale at SDM for 2.99, and it comes in two different amounts, 150ml and 300ml i think, but it was on sale for the same price.. so big surprise, i get the 300ml. this is probably the most amazing exfoliator for the price i've ever used, since you don't need you use a lot (just a tiny dollop on your fingers), and it spreads and covers all of your face - and then some! it smells ravishing, like apricots, and it had tiny ground-up walnut shell which exfoliate and slough off all your excess skin like there's no tomorrow! my skin felt smooth, radiant and glowing after i rinsed the product off... i couldn't stop touching my face, it was so smooth! Fantastic product, and definitely buy it if you find it on sale. Also, on the St. Ives website it offers $5 in coupons, which includes a $2 coupon for any face product. so pair that with your item on sale, and you've got a deal to die for. note - don't exfoliate more than once a week; twice for those with dry skin, no matter how much you love this product! exfoliating too much isn't good for your skin and it'll tend to get a little red/inflammed.

This is a great classic. I use this about once a week, and it's very effective at slothing off dead skin on my face. 'I think that the formula isn't too rough and it has a nice smell. It's cheap as well, which is always a nice thing.

This product contains crushed apricot seed shells, which are extremely jagged and sharp. They also leave microscopic tears in the skin. I definitely would NOT use this on my face or body for any reason whatsoever. Yes, it's a cheap product. There's a reason for that. They use the leftover apricot seed shells from other industries and use them in this. So essentially, they're using a waste product that would otherwise be thrown in the garbage or incinerated in your skin care product. Nice. Sure, it might be effective now. But can you imagine what your skin is going to look like after tearing it up day after day with this stuff, year after year?? Hell no, not for me. This is right up there with scrubbing your face with a handful of beach sand. I think we all know what THAT feels like if we get it in the wrong place and it rubs our skin off.

I tried this stuff quite a few years ago, before I knew the facts about apricot scrubs (and the same goes for all of them, no matter what brand), and found that there are much more effective products for exfoliation which use synthetic beads that are perfectly round and smooth. They exfoliate without tearing the skin and leave a very smooth finish to it. Clay masks also exfoliate beautifully, along with oatmeal scrubs and very finely milled, raw almonds, hazelnuts and sunflower seeds.

This product is not something that should even be on the market, really. I could never recommend it to anybody. My worst enemy, maybe hahaha

This is hands down my favorite scrub. I have been a loyal user of this product for years and I love it. It gives my skin a squeaky clean feel. I have acne prone sensitive skin and it works very well for me. It is affordable, effective and the quality it good too. Try it!!

This is really my favorite facial scrub. The quality is top of the line and the price is so cheap. It's probably the cheapest scrub around with the best quality. I would say it's worth every penny and more.!

Great scrub for a great price. This leave my skin feeling squeaky clean and very soft. I love it and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
