I didn't know any better

I didn't know about skin barrier years back. I was pretty harsh on my facial skin with this exfoliating scrub. The scrub particles weren't super fine for the face but they'd be good for the body skin maybe. I'd say, avoid using on face!

I would not recommend this product

When I used this scrub, it caused major irritation on my skin and did not help with my pimples, blackheads, or overall bad zones on my face. It cause more breakage and thus did not benefit my face.

Benefits do not outweigh the potential damage!

I find this scrub to be way to abrasive on the skin. I feel like once you usw the scrub it feels as if there is still product left behind after washing it off. So I never feel it leaves my skin as clean or smooth as other products.
I will not use this product in my face ever again as a dermatologist has told me it can do more damage than good because of the harshness of the product. I wish it was a more enjoyable product because I enjoy the scent.

Confused!!

Read/ heard a lot about it, but after using it once I decided not buy it for me in future. Didn’t like the texture and it didn’t work for me. My skin became rough and dry.

Not good for your face!

Using this product I loved the smell at first however as I started my skin got very irritated from the heavy amount of fragrance plus the "srub" factor already being not great for your skin to begin with. I recommend maybe using this on your legs before shaving but NEVER on your face! There are many other safe exfoliating options this just isn't it:)

Uneven exfoliant...better off using it as a foot scrub

I used to buy this when I was younger...but more recently realized, the rough and uneven sized exfoliant is more dangerous (risk of microtears) than it is beneficial. I've moved to a chemical exfoliant instead and use this as a foot scrub instead.

Did not work for me - St Yves Apricot Scrub

I used to buy this product back when I was in University. But, over years and after learning more and more about my skin. I would not buy this.
Reasons are :
- too harsh on my skin
- leaves my skin feeling too dry

I already have a dry skin, and using this adds more trouble to it. Damage it did to my skin outweighs any potential benefits it might have.

There are much better products out there.

Micro tears

This product really should not be used on our face. It's too rough creating micro tears. I wouldn't recommend as it can disrupt your natural skin barrier.

Cleans well, but leaves skin feeling raw

The scrub definitely does its job by exfoliating and scuffing away dead skin. However, I found this product a bit rough upon my sensitive skin. Perhaps it is better suited for those with tougher, more resilient skin!

Beware

This product is a heavy physical exfoliant. If you scrub too hard it will rip your face off. This scrub aggravates my acne, dries my face. It smells nice, that's about all i can say that is positive.
