This is an "okay" product.
It lathered nicely and felt very smooth while cleansing, my skin after rinsing felt a little tight afterwards with some residue, I had to rinse a lot more than I normally would with other cleansers to get rid of the feeling.
It did not do anything for my blemishes, acne or oiliness - my skin looked and felt virtually the same after a week of use.
It also has a pretty strong, sweet scent, not what I expected from a Green Tea product. I feel it may irritate skin if you are overly sensitive.
Overall, it works great as a cleanser - your skin will feel clean and refreshed, but it will not to much for your acne or oil.
Green tea favor is always the best favor for facial cleanser. It feels so clean and fresh. St. Ives blemish control green tea facial cleanser works well and not dehydrated my skin at all.
I paid about $5.50 so it is defiantly affordable compared to other drug store cleansers. It is nothing above average but it does the job, my face felt cleansed and refreshed.
The only thing I didn't like about it was the smell, which is why I won't buy it again. I would have preferred it to smell more neutral and "tea like" rather than the sweet smell that it has. I would recommend it to anyone though who is looking for a cleanser that won't break the bank an still does a nice job.
I have regularly bought this product. The price is amazing especially when on sale. I find that the smell is good, and it has great cleansing properties. I wish there was some more exfoliation though, but it's still a good quality cleanser.
Bought this because I have suuuper sensitive and dry skin so I thought it would work. It made my face feel suuuuuper tight and even more dry than usual, and it did not help with my blemishes.
I try to stick to products that are enriched with Green Tea as I tend to break out from time to time. The green tea Facial cleanser will leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed, and it will not further enhance any breakouts.
I bought this for my teenage son, who is experiencing some occasional breaking out. He normally exfoliates in the shower in the morning, but just uses water at night. When I saw this liquidated at SDM I picked some up for him. Whether it was the product, the moment in time, or the fact that he thought it was a ladies product, he decided it did not work. Hating to waste I decided to use it, and found it was a good cleanser, but nothing spectacular. I think we were just not the right family for this green tea cleanser, as it is the first and only St Ives product that has not been super impressive. I am passing it along to my teen nieces, and will update this review if they give me feedback.
This is an okay product. It is pretty drying so I only use it when my skins slightly oily or I have a few blemishes. It has a great smell and feels pretty great initially on the skin. I would definitely follow up with a good moisturizer afterwards
Another great and affordable product by St. Ives. I love using facial cleansers when I wear makeup because it really washes all the makeup and dirt off so easily preventing blocked pores.. This cleanser really does the trick making my face feel super clean and refreshed. I just can't get enough of this brand.
I love this product. It's so affordable and leaves my skin feeling super soft and clean. It also really evens out my skin tone, which is an added bonus I didn't expect, and something I usually use a lot of foundation to hide. I use this whether or not I'm having a breakout. It does help clear up breakouts faster.
