Steadtler erasers are the only white erasers we purchase. Our kids are required to have white erasers for school and these are the recommended brand. They are a great price and they work really well to erase pencil without leaving residue or tearing the paper.

This eraser is the best I've used! It easily removes pencil from most surfaces and doesn't leave any "shadow" behind. The paper ends up as white as it first started. It also doesn't wear down very fast and the "rubbings" don't break up into a little million pieces (clean-up is not an issue!) Definitely a must-have for any school shopping trip.
