I have long been loyal to the Staedtler brand, and with good reason. They are always quality products, and there are no exception. I came across them on a really good deal on Amazon around Christmas and bought them for myself, although I am just getting around to trying them now. The color pallette is beautiful, and when a little bit of water is applied over the crayon, it gives a true watercolor effect. I love them and wish I had bought several sets at the sale price!

These Watercolor Crayons are awesome. They are true to the color of the crayon. The pigments are strong and you can really control the application. Apply one color on top of another to achieve shading and other effects. Apply dry crayon and stroke with a moistened brush for true watercolor effect. Also, you can do dry crayon over washes.

They are awesome, last a long time and perfect for pairing with your disc watercolors.
