This scone is a wonderful piece of heaven. While most scones tend to be have a very dry texture, Starbucks scones are very moist and they don't crumble when you break them apart. The lemon cranberry scone is one of my favourites (my all-time favourite is the pumpkin scone, but that one is usually seasonal). It is coated in a thin icing, while the scone itself has a lemon base with chunks of cranberry baked inside. The scone is approx. $2.50 at most Starbucks locations and is about the size of an open hand (fingers included)--unless you have basketball player hands (then maybe reduce the size to 2/3). So next time you find yourself at one of those green coffee shops, ask the barista for a lemon cranberry scone with your latte, espresso, or whatever your drink of choice may be.
