Tastes like chalk

I am a huge fan of the double shot drinks. Mocha is my favorite. I will drink them over any cold coffee energy drink.
The new triple shot that has come out tastes nowhere near the same. I tried the mocha and it's bland and chalky tasting. Nothing at all like the double shot.
Sadly, the double shot is getting harder and harder to find as they are all being replaced by the triple shot. This is so disappointing.

Talk About Energy!

I never really enjoyed espresso so I drink cups of coffee daily. Upon hearing about Starbuck' new triple shot I went out and got a few as they were 2 for $5! (I bought 2 mocha & 2 Carmel) The mocha isn't half bad, but I didn't much care for the flavor in the Carmel one. The energy was a significant difference, so much so that I highly recommend you take it easy your first try. I was able to do my daily job, come home and cook and clean and then play video games with my son after dinner. I actually felt productive for once. Definitely worth the money. It's not common to find a cold coffee drink that isn't over priced and under caffeinated...so I am pleased to say that Starbucks' Triple Shot espresso drink is surely full of enough, if not, too much caffeine. I hope I can find the coffee flavor next shopping trip, but until then...mocha will do. This beverage is the coffee addicts white rhino.
