    Easy to use

Works extremely well, though for large potatoes you will need to cut them in half. It does take a bit of force to operate (like all force based vegetable slicers), if you're really struggling definitely cut the potato smaller and it will cut a lot easier. The suction cup is a lifesaver because I don't have to worry about it sliding all over the place. Very easy to use and essential for those who (for whatever reason) cannot chop a lot of potatoes.

I was pretty excited about this product when my mother gave it to me for Christmas. I saw a family friend use it and I thought it was pretty clever so of course I just had to have my own after I spend most of my time cutting potatoes trying to avoid cutting my own fingers or having them slip out of my hands or off the counter.

It's an alright product, but you definitely need a bit of strength to operate it and you can only cut smaller potatoes. Another annoyance I have is that you can sometimes end up with little slivers of potato, though that's to be expected because of the way the product works. I wish the blades were sharper so I wouldn't have to end up with a bigger potato stuck both in and out of the appliance, though - and so I don't have to use as much force which only ends up launching potato wedges across the kitchen when I can make it happen. At least the bottom is non-slip so you don't have to worry about launching yourself on the counter, and it is pretty easy to take out the blade to clean it out (dry immediately so it doesn't rust), but I'm just not amazed with the product. With the amount of effort I have to put into using it, I would rather just risk cutting my fingers doing it the usual way.

It's alright for smaller potatoes, but like another user said bigger potatoes are better (and I have to cut less as a result). I wish it could come with a variety of blade grids for things like wedges and home fries and the like. As it is now, it's an okay appliance if you have the strength, eat a lot of potatoes, and frequently consume small potatoes, but for the average person it might not be worth it. I might try using it to cut other items (maybe carrots, which might be too touch for the blades to handle, or onion), but it really isn't worth it to me. At least the price is decent for anyone who's looking to purchase it.
