We have a huge treed property, with about 2.5 acres and when the fall comes around I can't wait to tackle the leaves. In the beginning I was optimistic that I could (with a bit of help) rake the the front, back and side yards and bag the leaves. That thought quickly passed after a few hours without making much of a dent. Hubby would tell me just to leave it, he would use the leaf blower and clean up the property. At the time, he had an older model that weighted a ton, was super loud and too awkward for me to use.

A couple of summers ago he bought the STIHL model on sale for around $200, which is a great deal. The BG50 model is really light, easy for me to use the pull start, pretty quiet and uses little gasoline. I actually love to blow the leaves in the fall, snow off the vehicles in the winter and today I used it to blow debris off our driveway and back deck. Its now refereed to as Amanda's blower, because I have claimed it as my own.

If you have a large yard, lots of trees, then I highly recommend this gadget, its a lot of fun to use! Oh and what prompted me to write the review, is that we are looking to buy another one this summer as his finally kicked the bucket and I don't care to share mine lol
