Thought I would love it, but nope. I'm used to doing my brows with pencil or using gel with a brush. Using a liquid pen for me was new and I absolutely hated it. It makes my brows look super fake / drawn on / not natural.
Super easy to use, and lasts all day! Only takes me 30 seconds in the morning to apply and makes a huge difference. Pricey but lasts for months and months even with everyday use. A little goes a long way, I use it in very small brush strokes only where i need it most, and while still wet I smooth my finger over my brows to blend it in fully. My only complaint would be the small number of colour options.
This is the first time I've tried a brow treatment like this. It's a very fine tip similar to a liquid eyeliner. What I love about that is it creates a very natural appearance while filling in your brows. The fine tip forces you to be sparing where you apply it. Love that it's waterproof!
I was going on vacation to Cuba and wanted to find a brow liner that wouldn't smudge or sweat off from the heat. I was recommended this product about 3 years ago now and swear by it. It is about $27 but is so worth it and lasts quite awhile. This is the only product I buy for my eye brows and everyone is always telling me how great they look. Love love love this product. I always tell my friends and family about it ,even my co workers.
i'm so happy i actually found a brow pencil that i love so much, i've tried so many brands, but none as long lasting as stila. I tell my friends about this brow pencil it's like a permeant tattoo!!!
After receiving a make-over by Stila for the Look Good Feel Better fundraiser, I decided to buy Stila's Stay all Day Brow Colour. I struggled with it, because the application was not nearly as easy as the cosmetician made it look. It is quite permanent, but unless you are very adept at applying, I would not recommend this product.
I tried this Stila Brow Colour for our Make Up Transformation as well. I don't usually use liquid/felt tip eye brow colours, just because it reminds me of liquid eyeliners and I'm afraid that it'll dispense very pigmented colour all at once. But I was excited to try this. The tip of the applicator is very fine, which was really good for feathering on individual strokes to mimic real eyebrow hairs. I started from the inner part of my eyebrows and feathered on little hair strokes to achieve a filled in yet natural look. I then went over the sparse areas again. I think the colour was a bit light for me since I had to go over my brows a few more time than i'd like. But I do love the results. The product made me comfortable with felt tip eye brow colours. At the end of the day, my brow stayed put and looks just as nice as it did when i first applied it. I did however, rubbed it with my fingers just to see how it holds up. The colour did smudge a bit. Overall, I'm curious to try a deeper colour and to see how long the product will last for. I recommended this especially if you hard sparse eyebrows and want to have a product that can fake little hairstrokes that looks natural.
Tried this out at the office for our transformation tutorial and I quite liked the concept of it. It's a felt tip style applicator with a sheer pigmented colour that applies on much like liquid eyeliner. The good and bad about this is that it's easy to build up since the colour isn't very strong at first. However, if you have dark brows like mine you do have to go over it quite a few times. I think this might also be due to the fact the colour we tried was a bit too light and warm brown (I think if it was darker and ashy this might not be as much of an issue).
Staying power was pretty decent, I went out to do groceries after and grab dinner. Held up till pretty much till the end of the night when I washed my wash (a bit of fading occurred).
Great for travel as its a compact pen you can just throw in your bag.
