Piece of junk, waste of money!

Don't buy this press! It's as cheaply built as it's price.

The first one I bought- the suction seal came off. Went to the store to switch it out. Sales person was rude as if I was taking something from her.

Second one- seal was so tight couldn't open the press. Back to the store. Salesperson couldn't get it out either.

Third one- seal came off again. Tired of going back, figured I'd just deal with it.

Now, the screws in the lid have come loose. Lid is in pieces. CAN'T USE IT.

Waste of money.

Never shopping here again.

My boyfriend has been after me for months to try french-pressed coffee. Before spending an arm and a leg on something I wasn't sure I needed, we found this on sale at Stokes for $9.99. We were up early the next day, with my bf so excited to show me this new world of coffee. We added the ground coffee, boiled our water, and let the press do it's job.

All I can say is - I will be making time to make coffee this way every morning. For $9.99 you get a glass carafe with a rubber bottom. And I think it is more than well-worth the price for the taste of my coffee.
