My sister actually bought this Lip Plumping Treatment at shoppers by recommendation of one of the gals in beauty. Unfortunately, she had an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in the product and was not able to use the product. Always try on just a little bit of the product if you are unsure and avoid the outer edges of your lips.

The product itself comes in a tube that you twist the bottom to use. Be careful with this because at the beginning nothing comes out for the first approx. 3 twists and then when you feel like you should just twist another few times it starts coming out like lava.. so my advice is to just be patient so you don't waste the product and resist the urge to keep twisting.

Moving on to how it works: I actually really enjoy the tingling feeling I get when I put it on. Some people do not particularly enjoy it, so if you are looking for a lip plumper without that sensation, this is not it. It does actually plump you up a bit (not to the point that it looks ridiculous but just enough to notice the difference)and it leaves a nice gloss on your lips. I know my friends have said that If you use it too often you can get the feeling that your lips are drying and cracking but I use it once or twice daily and don't get that.

It retails at around $39 at Shoppers Drug Mart so ask someone in beauty to test the product to see if it does what you want it to because it isn't the cheapest of products but it does last pretty long because you don't need much on your lips for it to do its magic.
