I read the novel Suite Française and saw the movie afterwards. I really enjoyed the movie because I'm a big fan of WW2 movies. Such movie theme puts us in perspective that we are lucky to live in a country without war and constant fear. I don't want to say too much about the movie but it's a romantic movie during the WW2 setting. Next on my list is definitely The Zookeeper's Wife which is in theaters soon! I will not be repurchasing this as I already own a copy of this movie.
