Worth the price
I currently have a monthly subscription with boxy charm and had received this a while a go but beverage tried it and I’m in love it is one of my higher priced items but it really makes your skin look and feel flawless
First retinol product
I received a sample size of this as part of my Ipsy subscription. I have never tried retinol, so i wasn’t sure what to expect. I followed instructions to use it 2 nights on 2 off at nighttime only. While it’s only been a few weeks of use, I have seen improvements in my skin already. It is noticeably more clear than when I had started, in addition to much more firm and even.
It’s extremely expensive, as I’ve seen the price online, and more difficult to get in Canada. Those are probably the only negatives. If you can find for a discount or in a beauty subscription, I’d recommend giving it a try!
Worth a try!
This is my first time using retinol products so I don’t have any other brands of products to compare this to. I have to say that after a month of light to moderate use, I have seen a noticeable improvement in the fine lines on my forehead. Before I started using this product the lines were becoming visible when I would look in the mirror from 2-3 feet away. Since I haven’t used retinol before I started slow, every 2-3 days and then every other day. From what I have read it takes up to three months to see the full effects of retinol use, and in the next week or so I will start to use it daily and see what happens by new year.
I got this full sized, as an add on item from Ipsy so it was a good deal and I’ll probably buy it again if they offer it. At full price it retails for about $85 US, so it isn’t cheap. But it hasn’t been too hard on my skin, though I did get a couple of mild breakouts in the first two weeks. Since then my skin is improving I can’t see the lines on my forehead unless I get close. I’d recommend this, make sure to wait about 20 mins after applying before you put on a good moisturizer. And spf for when you’re going to be exposed to the sun as from what I’ve read it increases skin photosensitivity.
