When looking for a new skincare routine (let's be honest, I didn't really have one other than cleanser and moisturizer), there was one product that essentially came up time and time again, which was Sunday Riley Good Genes. Everyone seemed to be raving about this product and despite the hefty price tag, a large majority were still drooling over it so I was intrigued. As a read more about it, it seemed to address many of the concerns that I had, which included dull skin, dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles, on top of being ideal for all skin types. It didn't take long to convince me to give this a try.
As I've previously hinted, my normal routine contained two products and the word "serum" was not a part of my regular vocabulary. Since being introduced to this serum though, I'm a fan....of both serums and Good Genes. I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin's texture, I have yet to experience any dry skin, which is shocking now that we're moving into the winter season, and I do feel like it has improved the overall brightness of my skin. I personally haven't noticed any huge changes in my dark spots, but I have noticed that some of the lighter ones are getting lighter. Maybe it will take awhile for it to work its magic on the older and darker spots, but that's yet to be determined.
Overall, I do love this serum but the price is hard to justify on a regular basis given the results I've seen so far so I don't think it's something that I would purchase again and again.
I was given this to try and help my acne that is mostly on my chin. After trying so many different products i figured i might as well give it a shot and i am hooked! I noticed a difference in the redness mostly within a few hours. You can feel the product working as soon as you place it on your face. If you have any open imperfections it will sting for 2 seconds as it soaks into the skin but after that it goes away.
I purchased the Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment from Sephora. My acne prone skin cleared up after about a week and half of using daily. Anyone sensitive to scent may be bothered by it as it has quite a strong sent. The scent bothered me for the first week but then I must have gotten used to it because I didn't notice it anymore. This product is expensive but worth the money in my opinion. I just finished my second bottle and will repurchase. I wished there was a way to tell how much product is left in the bottle.
I just recently started using this and already see a difference- my skin is smoother and brighter. I have very oily skin and find that I'm not as oily any more. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the scent - but if it makes my skin smell great I will take it. It is very pricey
This stuff is my absolute holy grail product! I have pesky combination skin with a big ol' side of sensitive. Finding products that clean and exfoliate my skin but don't irritate or damage it is incredibly difficult some days. I got this as a sample in a subscription box and holy batman, within TWO DAYS my HUSBAND noticed a difference, and may I just say the man doesn't notice much! lol. It's just amazing, it feels amazing, it does an impeccable job of exfoliating with Lactic Acid, which is a gentle but fantastic exfoliant. It brings moisture to your skin, brings down the redness in my skin tone by soothing and calming. I just honestly cant say enough good things about this stuff. The only down side is the price, and it's a BIG price. $105 for a very small container, but you honestly don't need much at all and you don't need to use it every day, personally I could make a full size last probably about 3 months. So looking at it that way it doesn't seem nearly as expensive!
