I was so excited to try this product, love the idea of not having to measure out laundry soap, and much less messy. I was however disappointed that the pods were sticking to many of my clothing items and i had to rewash them. I contacted sunlight and they stated best to be thrown in with the water before adding clothing.. unfortunately i have a front load washer and that isnt an option. So these just arent the pods for me. Would recommend to anyone with top load, i gave mine to my mom and she LOVES them.
These looked very promising. I have a GE HE front load washer, and tried these with a load of colours as it says that it is very effective on colours. The pod itself did not deteriorate and it stained my clothing. I contacted the company two weeks ago regarding this issue and no response. I am to scared to try these again.
When I first bought this product it was because of the restoring of whites(it did), and it was easy to use, but now I am encountering a problem with the power packs. They are not completely dissolving and pieces of the plastic turn hard and are stuck to my clothes or a wet gooey mess inside of my wash machine. At first I thought it was because I used cold water, but the same thing is now happening with hot water. At first I did not notice the clumps once they came out of the dryer, but my husband has found these hard plastic pieces in his t shirts, on the bedding sheets, socks, etc, now I have to search for them just in case. I would not recommend this product going forward.
I really like using pods for the convenience. I tried these Sunlight PowerCore pods and immediately noticed that they were quite large. Unfortunately the plastic remained stuck to an item of clothing after washing and therefore I had to rewash the whole load just to completely dissolve the entire pod. I find these to be more pricey of the pods and won't re-purchase.
I tried these on my Husbands work clothes and ended up washing them again in our usual brand. The clothes seemed clean but didnt smell that way. You could still smell all the strong odors on his clothes.
I usually buy either Tide or Costco's own Kirkland brand laundry pods. The cheaper price is what enticed me to use this brand and I'm sorry I cheaped out!
Since using this brand I've been noticing these mysterious little hard plastic pieces stuck to the odd piece of clothing. I've been wondering what on earth is going on and the only conclusion I can come to is that the pod sometimes doesn't dissolve and when the clothes are put in the dryer they melt with the heat and stick to a garment and harden when take out.
