What's better than buying your beef from a good butcher? Buying it directly from the farm! This is not a cheaper option than flyer specials - but there is a lot of controversy about how beef is treated, hormones, etc. Whenever we can, we buy from Swain's and have for a few years now. Swains is a family farm since 1892 in Durham region - south of Blackstock (Ontario) which raises beef cattle and offers online shopping. They even deliver the frozen fresh meat right to my door for free. It's beef I can feel good about
