To build a base tan, I would immediately recommend Swedish Beauty's Take Olive Me Indoor Tanning Lotion. It is from their new BoTANicals line, which has olive milk, vitamin A & E, and Aloe. This product also uses their Bio Blend, which uses natural melanin enhancers.
I bought this at my Goodlife gym.

What I loved about this product:
It has a light scent that isn't too strong and you can apply your own perfume over it after and wont have a problem mixing scents.
I did notice that I had a darker color when I walked out of the tanning bed.
It's nice and thick, a little goes a long way.

What I disliked about this product:
It leaves the tanning lotion smell over your body if you dont wash it off after a few hours.
Sweat profusely if you put too much on
