This is hard to rank, and might just be my experience, but when I take one pill, I sleep well (YAY) but remain groggy until noon the next day, and sometimes have troubling waking to my alarm. Switching to half a pill just left me feeling a little less groggy, but for the same length of time. For those that do like it, it's cheap and arguably effective.
