I bought this a few years ago and absolutely love it. It cooks fries in 45 min with just a tbsp. of oil and they come out tasting like deep fried fries. I have also done chicken wings and stir fried veggies in this machine. It comes with a great cookbook that gives you all sorts of recipes and ideas beyond just fries. Anyone who comes over for dinner and has the fries cannot believe it comes from the Actifry and they want to get one. The regular Actifry will hold 2 lbs. of fries but the plus does hold more for the larger family. I love this product. Yes it is light weight and made of plastic, but I have had mine a couple of years now with no problems. It comes apart for easy cleaning. Two thumbs up.

I bought this item as it had the benefits of a deep fryer while only using 1 teaspoon of oil. Opening the product I was extremely disappointed at the quality of the product as it was not a cheap item. A lot of the parts in the fryer were plastic and I don't see it lasting a long time. I will be returning this product back to Costco where I bought it. I also found the frying basket was extremely smaller than my traditional deep fryer
