This book is based on a true story and is a fun, laugh-out-loud read. Ellie holds nothing back from the reader and reveals all her thoughts, fears, and dreams. She is someone who every girl can relate to and her antics are sure to leave you hysterical. This book is a fun, vicarious ride through New York and London, and conveys the intimidating yet thrilling nature of traveling abroad. By the end, I wanted to travel the world one country at a time as well.

This book is the first in the Wannabe Cosmopolitan series and is set in New York and London. It ends with a cliff hanger and hints at more adventure and laughs in the next book when Ellie continues her trip to Rome and Paris. This book is a must-read for chick-lit lovers and I absolutely loved it!
