I have been using Tampax since i was 14, I won't go back to pads or try cheaper brands of tampons !
Tampax does the job for me, no leakage, no popping out, nothing.
The applicator is very smooth going in, not uncomfortable and there is just enough string dangling out
Also comes in a nice scent, I love Tampax.
I have used Tampax pearl for year after using the cardboard applicators and hating them. The plastic applicator is MUCH easier to grip when inserting and much more comfortable. I find them to be comfortable and to do the job, they are pricey but I would rather pay a little more out of my pocket then to be worried about leaks. I am sure there are products that are comparable out on the market but why change what works.
Tampax Pearl is my favourite kind. It's easy to use and the applicator is always efficient - unlike cardboard that sometimes breaks or gets caught. I haven't had any problems with it leaking either, it's a great product that gets the job done in the least messy way possible!
I have never been a fan of Tampax. I find they always stick out and when you go pee they fall out. I prefer O.B.
I have been using Tampax brand for years, and started using "Pearl" when I could no longer find the old standards anymore. I find they are comfortable and easy to use, and do a good job at preventing leaks. I preferred the old "flushable" applicator to the new plastic one.
As to the question of whether I recommend them, "You Betcha!" is maybe an overstatement. If there were something in between, like "Sure, okay," that would better reflect my level of enthusiasm. Then again, how enthusiastic can we really get about these kinds of things??
I'm an old fashioned girl especially when it comes to sensitive products. Anything getting that close to me has to be better than what I'm using or I will not change, especially when the price is more. But it works well enough, just not any better.
I agree with Meguinn, good product but a lot more expensive than other tampons. I recently tried other brands but they did not compare to this one. I even tried the off brand thinking that it would be almost the same thing just a bit cheaper, but ended up going back to the brand. I'm willing to pay a bit more knowing I won't have any "accidents", plus the big box with the different absorptions will last quite a while.
I tried these tampons after a comercial, they market them sooo good. I unfortunatley found that they wern't remarkable! They didn't last very long... and isn't that what you want? I thought for paying the few dollars more for the name brand TAMPAX wasn't really worth it. I don't think they found the magic tampon secret yet.
I have been using these tampons for years now.
The best part about them is the applicator. It's exceptionally smooth with a rounded tip, you will probably never feel another tampon applicator so easy and comfortable to insert!
Great for medium-low flow.
The top of the string is braided to stop leaks.
The plastic is very pretty and soft, not crinkly and bulky.
They smell like jelly beans and flowers! :D
The only down side to these tampons is that they're fairly expensive, running around $6-$8 (Canadian) for a pack of 18.
