It applied easily and was a good match to my skin tone.

Tarte and I have such a hit or miss relationship. But so far all their cheek stains or blushes I love!

I've had a few deluxe/travel size of these cheek stains and I love them. I looked online at them and was surprised by the price, but once I got to a store and seen the size, totally worth the price! So the product, it's kinda odd jelly looking but it works and smells great. For once this stain actually stains! Surprise! That being said I just do a few blots and quickly spread/rub from my cheek to temple. From there I just keep applying more if I need it.

So like I said it stains and it's great! I spend my day out of the water and applying sunscreen multiple times a day, which takes off and powder blush, but this stain will last for most of the day even with multiple sunscreen application.

Now shades, you almost need to go try them out. I've had 2 and "Flush" does really give you a flush look, very natural, love it. But when you look at it, it's very dark and deep, I almost trashed it right away, very happy I didn't! The 2nd shade I no longer have it, but a brighter red/pink, wasn't perfect shade, but it was a good start.

I'm a little bit obsessed with beauty products and I thought why not buy not this cheek stain. I'm so glad I spent the money and bought this product. This cheek stain smells fantastic, comes in amazing colours, goes on skin well and lasts all day. Did I mention I have EXTREMELY oily skin, and yes it stays on unlike most blushes that slide right off my face by 9am. I HIGHLY recommend this cheek stain, and am definitely going back to buy more colours!

I love this blush! It gives such a great natural flush, when I first started wearing it my friend asked me nearly every day if I had been tanning (nope!)... I've had mine for nearly a year and there's still a good 1/2" left in the stick... I love that I don't need a brush and can drop it without shattering like a powder. Feels great, wears long!

I really like this cheek stain. It smells amazing and goes on nicely. The only problem i have with it is that it may be a little dark for my skin tone but that just makes me want to go and buy a different color because it is fantastic.

This is the latest blush I bought and I love love loooove it!!! It is the most flattering shade, goes on beautifully and just stays. Not only is the colour super flattering, but the 'look' of it is amazing. It gives a soft sheeny highlight to the skin, face looks healthy and flushed. Right now this is my most favourite blush and I highly recommend it to everyone. But good luck finding this shade! Seems like I'm not the only one that loves it!

It is great! It stays on all day long. It lasts a looong time! I've had this for over 6 months and I've barely even put a dent in the product. Really buildable. The smell is amazing! I haven't used any other blush since I've gotten this. It gives such a nice flush to the skin it looks natural. I seriously cannot rave about this product more! Its great! I have yet to ty out the others but I would get a smaller one instead just because full sized one lasts for ever!!!

I've already established that I like tarte. Their stuff meets the criteria for my natural fresh face movement.


Their water-based blush gel sticks are alcohol and oil free. I always have a Flush in my make-up drawer. It's so good that even my mother is hooked. She was fascinated by the product and now I am consistently restocking her supply. I'm guessing they didn't make blush like this back in her day. It's definitely on the more expensive end, but lasts longer. On a sidenote, let's not tell my mom how much it is. I told her it's only available in a store by my house so that she won't go searching for it on her own. If she knew...her eyes would pop out of their sockets.


At the start of summer I picked up a stick of Tipsy. It's a sheer coral-pink with a light apricot scent. Just like it's name, you get the soft glow that appears after downing a glass or two of wine. Instead of pinching my cheeks, I can pat this on - different methods, same result.


Tip: If you want to sample a bunch of the colours, wait for a cheek stain set. Sephora usually gets one around the winter holidays. It's usually a trio of deluxe sample sizes in their most popular colours.

I bought a trial size of this product in "the perfect pink" (which I actually don't think they sell in the full size version) & I really like it. It gives my cheeks a subtle glow. It was a little difficult to get used to it, as I'm used to using powder blush but once I got the hang of it, it was great. It smells good too! I do wish I bought a bit darker shade though, as this is a bit too pink for me. It will definitely look good in the summer though with a tan. I think I may go back & buy "Tipsy" because it seems like that is getting a lot of good reviews.

'Cushion' is part of Tarte's limited edition Holiday 2009 collection 'Three Carats' (since discontinued), a "shimmering deep apricot" colour that looks so natural, you can't tell it's makeup.

A recent convert to cream/liquid blushes, I am absolutely in love with this shade and was disappointed to discover it's no longer available except on eBay. It seems to be pretty close to Tarte's current 'Tipsy' shade, though.

I have a very fair complexion and worried that this would be too orangey for my skintone. However, it adds a hint of warmth that's so natural plus just the slightest hint of shimmer - I'm sold!
