Had high hopes!

Unfortunately Tarte drink of H2o hydrating boost was not what my skin needed. I usually like gel moisturizers because they seem to absorb well and leave my skin feeling smooth and not overly shiny. When I applied it to my face it had a thick, sticky gel like feel and rather than glide on my skin like most other gel moisturizers I really had to work it into my skin. After it was applied it seemed to just sit on top of my skin. I was hoping if I gave it a few minutes it would absorb completely but unfortunately it did not. It could be that this would be better suited for someone with dry skin. Perhaps dry skin would soak it up better but it did nothing for my normal to combination skin.
