I've been listening to the hype for years and finally bought this concealer, and it is definitely living up to it's praise. The concealer is full-coverage so you only need a little, and I find sheering it out with a wet Beauty Blender or sponge helps it blend into the skin beautifully. Doing this gives me flawless skin without looking too heavy for everyday makeup. Under a good setting powder (I use the Laura Mercier powder) it lasts for roughly 8 hours throughout the day.

FULL coverage

This concealer is fantastic if you are looking for the absolute fullest coverage. I can use this as a full coverage foundation on its own, seriously bulletproof. I would really only use this if I wasn't in natural light as I think it looks cakey outside. But for a night out this concealer is amazing and will cover any imperfections. Not to mention the size is great for the price.

This is by far my favourite concealer! I use it under my eyes and it covers my dark circles effectively! I do find that it creases a bit but not terribly!

not a huge fan

unfortunately not a huge fan of this concealer, i find it extremely drying and it always makes my under eyes look cakey. although it does give amazing coverage and i do sometimes enjoy using it as spot coverage to conceal blemishes

Holy Grail

I absolutely love this concealer. It’s easy to work with and blends easily. No creasing as long as you don’t cake it on and set it with a translucent powder. Price is good and it lasts you a long time.

Conflicted, but cautiously recommended

There is a reason why I would only cautiously recommend this bad boy cult favorite concealer. It is appropriate for a specific skin type, and that is not mine. My under eyes are as dry as the Sahara, and the Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer sucks out any of the remaining moisture, emphasizing lines, getting patchy, and creasing like crazy. It is not the right product for me. But my friend who recommended it to me loves it (and suffers from very oily skin). I will continue to experiment with the product to see if I can get it to work for me, but as it stands, I cannot approve of it for dry skin. It is very high coverage though, which I am sure many people would love.

Dry skin

It is kind of expensive, but the product is worth the price tag. I wear this every day without fail and have no regrets about my purchase. I have fair skin so my under eye bags are definitely noticeable, but this concealer makes them vanish. I was most surprised by the fact that it doesn’t crease; in fact, I’ve only noticed creasing two or three times. It’s not a super oil controlling product, so if you’re looking for something that will control oil, this product will only take you so far. It does help me somewhat, but my skin doesn’t get super oily. When applying on my T zone, where I’m most oily, the concealer works for a while but I do have to blot my skin about two or three times total through the course of the day. ( I’ve found that the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation worked really well for controlling oil but not drying out my skin, which is really impressive! I only have to blot about once a day while wearing that foundation. ) Anyways, overall, I’d say this product is one of the best concealers, if not the best, on the market. Hope this helped!

Other concealers have made me break out but this on didn’t. I love the formula and the smell of the product. The price is a bit high but the quality is good

Fab product, shame about the creasing

This product has amazing coverage and the large doe applicator makes application super fast and accurate. The product smells pleasant and isn't tested on animals (always a bonus). Unfortunately, I can't give it a 5 as it does crease something terrible for me. This is probably due to its matte finish - which I don't tend to get on with in foundations.

Good coverage but it does oxidize!!

This is my go to concealer due to the buildable coverage it gives. However, beware because this does oxidize over the course of 15 minutes or so! This product covers my acne scars very well with maybelline superstay foundation!
