Tarte

Tarte is a cruelty free makeup company and some products are vegan! This mascara is at sephora . Very expensive for makeup. $30+ . mascara doesn't last as long as other makeup essentials.. It isn't the best as I expected it to be. Its a bit clumpy and takes a few layers to be visible. I'm not gonna waste my money on this next time so I'll stick to cheap stuff.

Good for bottom lashes

I received this mascara in my December Boxycharm. The packaging is neat but a bit oversized. The product says it expires in 6 months and I don't feel like I would use it all. The bristles on the wand are small spikey plastic ones. The bristles separate the lashes evenly but don't really add much for length or volume. Just an okay mascara, best used for bottom lashes. I found throughout the day that it flaked off a bit so I can't really justify the high price....

Was super excited to try this product.i got this one as a sample and within 2 uses it was dried you and did not apply smoothly and made my lashes look horrible.

Wow to the dramatic lash! yes–it was a very dark lash. Holy messiness that I did not like. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that this was due to the sample size tube I was using. It definitely made it an uphill battle for this little mascara to convince me from there. I was rubbing my counters hard trying to get the formula off where it had splattered. Yeah, I pulled the wand out pretty hard. Again, with less expensive formulas available, this isn’t something I’ll be springing for. I do like that it sort of is a statement eye–very dark.

I got this as a sample and I really didn't like it. I found it liquidy and it transferred to my lids. It just isn't worth the price for me. i have drug store mascaras that I like better.
