had a minor reaction to this mask :(

I'm sure I am in the minority, but after applying this mask to my face, I felt a slight tingling that turned into pins and needles type feeling and then a slight burning. Because of that, after 5 minutes of having this mask on my face, I had to wash it off to avoid a negative reaction or burning. I had heard so many great reviews of this mask softening skin and tightening pores, and was hoping this would do wonders for me, but I have sensitive skin and infreqiently use harsh skincare products, so i think for most people this mask should not cause any reaction, but if you have extremely sensitive skin, proceed with caution and take care.

Effective purifying mask

I received the Tata Harper face mask trio in December and have been using them regularly ever since. My favorite is the Purifying Mask. My skin has been very congested and this does wonders to clearing it. Be forewarned though, it has an extremely strong ginger scent, so definitely smell it before purchasing if you’re sensitive to scents. This mud mask is almost mousse like, with a nice cooling effect on the skin that tells me it’s working! I try to use it about once a week for 30 minutes. After this time, my skin is clearer and feels less oily. When I first started using this, I was experiencing more breakouts, and I definitely helping to prevent future breakouts.

WOW what a mask !! made my face feel so soft and it cleared up my skin. Even though it is expensive I think it is worth every penny !! I would recommend this mask !

I purchased this mask as a sample from @clementinefields and there was enough for 2 generous uses. This is a deep cleansing detox treatment mask; good for normal, oily, combination, or dry skin.

I find most Tata Harper products highly scented, and this was no different… it reminded me of citronella. The scent may be a bit much for some users… but I think you know you’re going to get a highly scented product when you buy Tata.

The texture is lovely, and the mask is pink like Pepto Bismol. I found it to be rather tingly without leaving my skin feeling sensitive. In fact, for a clay based mask, this is very hydrating. I definitely noticed that Tata Harper’s Purifying Mask had an effect on my congested areas… unclogging some pores and eliminating some blackheads.

I’ve been a fan of just about everything I’ve tried by Tata Harper. I love that she uses natural ingredients, and the thought and care into sourcing and creating her products is obvious. The Purifying Mask is luxurious and lovely to use. It is also a workhorse… cleaner pores and noticeable boost in radiance. My only criticism is that the full-sized jar (for the price) seems quite tiny, and wouldn’t last terribly long. Overall, a great luxury skincare product!
