Great Mask for Glowing Skin!

I love Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask! It left my skin smoother and softer than any mask has ever left my skin. I have uneven skin texture due to acne scarring and even after the first use I saw an improvement in my skins' texture and my enlarged pores were less noticeable. I love how effective this mask is while still being gentle and not causing any dryness or peeling even though I'm using it 3 times a week. This mask is fantastic and a must-have for those looking for glowy, smoother skin

Great mask from Tata Harper

I've used many Tata Harper products over the years and am never disappointed- tha mask included. Goes on nicely and washes away without too much scrubbing. Makes my skin look and feel amazing. It is on the pricier side though.

Don't Recommend!

I tried the TATA HARPER RESURFACING MASK as it was on Allure's top beauty products of 2017. Its good for pores, dullness and uneven skin texture which I suffer from due to natural aging... yay! I have tried many different products and was really hoping to see some great results with this one as I have read so many wonderful things about it! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this product.

The mask is in the form of an orange gel with a really heavy chemical smell which I found strange considering it is supposed to be 100% natural and non toxic. The directions are simple, apply a THICK layer over the face, neck, and chest. Leave on for 15-30 minutes and rinse with warm water. I am not sure why they say THICK layer because I tested it and it does the exact same thing and you get the same results with a thin layer as well and I am also baffled as why you would need this on your chest... but I followed the directions and this is what I concluded. The mask goes on so easily and so smoothly. A little bit of the product really does go a long way, which is fantastic because it comes in little 1 oz jars. The product does dry really quickly after application and it really really dries. Like, it hurts. At first it was just a normal drying sensation that lots of masks have, but pretty soon it became very uncomfortable and unbearable. Each time I was only able to leave it sit for the 15 mins instead of the 30. I could not hardly talk and It felt like I had gotten botox or something. I could not move my face or show expression hardly. Eeek.

The product rinsed off very quickly and easily and I did not need to use a rag or anything. Just warm water and my hands. My skin instantly felt so smooth and silky and it lasted well into the next day as well. I was surprised that my face was NOT RED at all. Most masks make my face red upon removing and I was scared because of how drying this one felt on my skin. But there was no redness at all. I did get a beautiful glow which was super nice!

Overall, this product does work and it works very well. However, it was very uncomfortable and I know that there are masks out there that work just as well and do not hurt in the process. Also, $77 CAD for a 1 oz jar is just not worth it to me.

I really like the fact that it is made from all natural ingredients and it light fragrance comes from flowers so it does not irritate your skin. This is a real nice way to pamper yourself and relax.

What I absolutely LOVE about this mask is that when it says "instant glow", it's true. It is hands down one of the BEST masks I have ever used and seen an instant difference with. When I trained staff on this mask, the looks of amazement were incredible to witness. Essentially, this is a truly natural and effective chemical peel. The term "chemical peel" still scares people, but what it really means is "non-physical/chemical exfoliation". Chemical exfoliation is perfect for those with sensitive or mature skin with this mask being formulated for even those suffering from rosacea.

You will notice that the very first ingredient in this mask is aloe juice and not water (aqua). When a rep from another very well-known brand in Sephora saw this, even she was impressed because it isn't commonly done due to product preservation issues. The preservative in this mask is radish root extract and NOT phenoxyethanol which is also a very awesome thing to note. A few companies do this, but is still is not the norm even for a lot of green marketed products.

A deep exfoliation shouldn't burn or sting though I know it feels like it is doing more for the skin. This mask does what all the other exfoliators do and then some! It is a pricey mask for 30mL and has gone up because of our horrific Canadian dollar, but I would still HIGHLY recommend it. I cannot ever be without it and I happily use this mask every Monday and continually gawk at how much more smooth, even and clear my skin looks after I wash it off. Every ingredient means something and the ones that I have highlighted are ones that set this mask apart from many others. Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask, I love you!

The resurfacing mask has a lovely fruity scent has a gel-like consistency and goes on smoothly. A little product goes a long way and a light application is better than globbing it on. You can feel a slight tingling sensation while it is on the skin but you will experience no irritations. Be certain to remove after recommended time if you have sensitive skin like me or it will cause a slight redness. After rinsing the mask off, my skin felt softer, smoother and glowing. The dead skin was gently wiped away. It's a fabulous facial treatment.
