Not for me
I used this product for about a month or so and it just wasn't for me, especially for the price. It's not super heavy so it was good to use as part of my morning routine and under makeup but I have pretty dry skin so it didn't really moisturize well enough for me personally. I use a similar light weight cream from a different brand and I prefer that over this Tatcha water cream.
Fancy packaging holding a mediocre product
I was SO excited to try this cream. I read so many amazing reviews online and decided to give it a try. It comes in a pretty container with a fancy little gold spoon for applying the product. With daily use I saw zero improvement in my skin. It also only lasted about 1.5 months. Smells nice but I was not impressed. No magic in this jar. Save your money.
Not moisturizing enough
Love tatcha products, but not this one. It feels like nothing is absorbing into my skin, maybe it’s my skin type who knows.
It’s very light and gentle though so this may be good for those looking for something lightweight.
Overpriced but cool texture
I received this sample size from a Sephora point perk that I redeemed. This sample probably had around 6 uses in it (I tried to use this sparingly). This moisturizer is really interesting, in that it looks like a cream, but when you apply it and rub it in, the consistency turns into an almost watery texture. It doesn’t stay creamy. I didn’t really notice any dramatic effects, or anything that really wowed me, in terms of hydration. I used this moisturizer in place of my usual Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief, and it didn’t really feel like it did a better job. It may not have even been as good as my Clinique.
Would I repurchase? Probably not. The exorbitant price does not match my experience with the sample size. It didn’t “wow” me, so I’m not going to pay a “wow” price.
