I do love a Chai Tea lattte from Starbucks so I decided to give the Tazo teabags a shot. This tea is too spicy for my liking. The black pepper spice is a little too strong. I think I will stick to the fruitier teas from now on. This tea is not for me.

This tea did not have the complexities I enjoy in a chai tea. The first time I tried it was in a hotel, so I thought maybe the the way it was made was the problem. Bought a box of it at home only to realize it was the tea, not the method that was the issue.

Each flavor still had the same notes/taste as regular chai tea. The ginger, pepper, and cardamom still come through, but each has an additional flavor burst to add to your taste buds. I personally did not like the chocolate, but I loved the added flavor from the vanilla caramel. These are great when you just need a relaxing night. So grab your favorite mug like I did, and indulge in these unique flavors. TAZO Chai tea comes in a variety of flavors including original, decaf, vanilla caramel, chocolate, and pumpkin spice. You can find this in most grocery stores. It runs around $4 for a smaller box.

I do not really like chai tea, but my boyfriend loved it.
