Yum!
I am a self-proclaimed tea aficionado so I was sooo excited to try this tea! I am always looking for caffeine free options that aren't artificially sweet and this one definitely fulfils my wishes! I like making this with a splash of milk for an even creamier taste. It really does taste like crème caramel!
Great Product
Delicious caramel smell right when you open the package. Extra bonus if you get caramel pieces in the teabag as not all the tea bags have the chunks in them. Very sweet which may be a turn off for people who don't like their tea sweet, but I personally love it.
Favorite tea
If your’re looking for a healthier alternative to coffee, try this one. With this time of pandemic, I’m trying to refrain myself from dining in coffee and tea shop. So this one is perfect for me as it tastes so good like what I’m buying our neighborhood coffee shop. It serves as an all natural way to detox and wind down. It serves as mu tummy calmer after a heavy meal. In my opionion it is traditionally enjoyed hot but best served cold.
DESSERT in a cup
: This is part of their 'skinny desert' collection. Just the name itself evokes its delicious flavors in your mouth. It tastes amazing hot or cold. With high quality tea leaves in a gorgeous mesh bag, your tea is infused to perfection. An absolutely ideal companion to those lazy summer days that we are all looking forward to!!
Dessert in a cup which can’t go wrong
I’m extremely sweet toothed and my recent diet changes allows me to take limited amount of sugar. Whenever I crave sweets this teapigs roobios tea comes to my rescue. The colour of the fully infused tea reminds me of wildflower honey and a piece of cinnamon elevates the flavour to top notch. I’m happy with plain infused tea but a drop of honey and cream works great as well. One of the best teas available in the market. I will definitely add it to my tea box.
Decent, but it’s not a dessert
I don’t drink caffeinated beverages, so I normally skip most teas and coffees. I do however sometimes like having a hot caffeine free beverage. Was looking forward to trying this as I LOVE caramel, but was let down by the taste. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t dessert. Feel like it was over sold, so I expected a stronger sweeter taste.
Not really a dessert experience
I had pretty high expectations after reading the delicious sounding description and the fact that there is actual caramel ingredient in the tea. Unfortunately, I didn’t think that drinking this tea was similar to eating an actual creme caramel. It’s a fine herbal tea and it’s high quality but the marketing message really oversold the taste.
Great Dessert Replacement
As an avid tea lover, I enjoy having a cup of tea after my dinner. I usually aim for ones that will help with digesting what I just ate, however I might have found a new favourite. This tea with its infusion of caramel made for a great replacement for dessert when I felt like I needed a sweet treat, however I didn't feel for a baked good. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a sweet cup of tea.
Sweet Scent
I received this product for free from Chick Advisor, however my honest review is based on my personal experience.
It's quite a decent tea. I was worried a little thinking that the tea itself will be sweet or has an artificial taste, it doesn't. This creme caramel flavour would be wonderful served warm during winter or rainy day. I made mine like a latte with milk froth and it's so amazing!
Tastes Better Thank I Thought it Would
I received this product (Teapigs Rooibos Crème Caramel Tea) for free from ChickAdvisor for my honest review.
I am not a coffee drinker, unless I absolutely need a shot of caffeine. generally drink 1-2 cups of tea a day. I am always looking for more caffeine free dessert tea options to satisfy my sweet tooth. What better way than with caramel in my tea?
When i first brewed the tea I was not a huge fan of the scent and figured for sure I would need milk to help with the taste. But I gave it a shot on its own "just a few sips to see what it is like on its own I said". Next thing I knew I was done the cup and forgot all about my initial feeling of needing milk. The taste of the tea is quite pleasant with a small hint of sweetness but not overpoweringly so.
Adding the milk made it even smoother tasting. I have not tried it iced yet but will be doing so as summer kicks in to gear.
I like that the brand itself has a good story, good products (at least judging by this one so far) as they have full leaves in the tea bags not just powdery left overs, their packaging is either compostable or recyclable and lastly they have some pretty good views on ethics.
