When the lid doensn't need washing, it's awesome1

I was so in love with my Teavana Contour Tumbler. It kept my drinks super hot, looked amazing and fit perfectly in my car's cup holder. Then I popped the lid apart to wash. After a huge amount of time trying to put it back together, I ended up googling You tube videos to find out how to do it. Nothing. Took back to the store where the salesperson put it back together for me. Easy peasy right? Nope. After I washed it again, I couldn't figure it out. This can't be that hard.
