Cool and fun
I was supposed to receive Primitive, but have instead received Baker boards. Different artwork, but all the same otherwise.
My kids were very excited to rip into these boards right away. They’ve played with them at friends’ houses but have never had their own. After deciding who gets what, they were ready to get at it.
There was initial excitement and enthusiasm at the prospect of building the boards. This did not last long. My children became quickly frustrated, and I frantically gathered the ripped pieces of packaging to look for instructions. No such luck. Fortunately, I am clever enough (and it’s easy enough) to figure out assembly. Once I sorted the children and got them going they happily built their boards.
They come with necessary tools and teeny tiny screws. By some miracle none were lost during assembly. We, as a family, do enjoying building projects, and this is a fun toy to figure out.
The kids have been playing happily with them and finger boarding all over the house. Tech Deck boards are really cool, just be prepared to help little ones
Great finger boards!
My son is 8 and absolutely loves finger boards. The designs on the boards were so cool and being able to customize with different wheels was so much fun. That being said he did have some difficulty installing everything himself. The little screws and nuts were a bit of a challenge. After they were put together he did some amazing tricks! The packaging would be so much nicer if there was a container the screws/nuts came in, it would make storing the extras easier.
Fun set to play anywhere
Cool set of Tech Deck skateboards to build! There are different attachments to create new working skateboards. Some designs are really awesome to build our own skateboard. I think it is great addition to a track deck park to play anywhere! Many ups and downs, twists and jumps!
Skate On !!!
These little skateboards are really cool and vibrant. My daughter couldn’t wait to get to building these. We took some time and did this together. At 8 years old she needed some assistance. The parts are super tiny and take some finesse to assemble the boards to completion so we worked as a team.
There is one board that is already assembled which we used to follow as there are no instructions included. I think this may be a nice addition. It was fun for her to choose which wheels will go on which board.
After assembly they are very realistic and roll nicely. Ready to play and have some fun !!
These things are super fun
I received this baker skateboards tech deck kit to try for free in exchange for my honest review and it was so much fun. The graphics on the boards are incredible - they look super realistic. The parts are just soooooo tiny - which is of course part of the charm but some got lost almost instantly.
Cool Tricks
This Spinmaster Tech Deck kit came with 4 fun to assemble Skateboards. It took some patience and steady hands as you get to attach your own screws, bolts and wheels. What a fun way to keep his fidget hands busy. You can do tricks and practice flips, ollies and slides.
Tech Deck Fun!
My son was very excited when SpinMaster’s Tech Deck package arrived. All of his friends have this cool finger skateboard toy at school but we had yet to invest in one. The packaging was fun, compact and easy for him to open. Once he did open it, however, he became a little overwhelmed at all of the small pieces and the fact that he had to put most of it together himself. This proved to be a bit difficult for him (age 9) even though the product is aged 6+ hence the 4/5 stars. We resolved the issue by making this a family activity which was an added bonus, getting Mom and older brother involved. My son was soon learning some neat “skate” tricks on the already assembled board while waiting for the others to be ready. The toy even inspired him to look up some YouTube videos on how others enjoyed their Tech Decks to get some tips and tricks. Overall this is a really neat toy that brought the whole family together for some unique fun.
A neat toy for the right kids
I was given Tech Deck 4Pack Primitive from SpinMaster in exchange for my honest review. Of course they weren't really interested in my review so much as that of my children. My kids were thrilled to receive this and eagerly opened it up. Of course, they weren't overly careful and little bits went flying. Be warned! Putting these together was a little beyond the abilities of my 6 year old but my 9 year old got right in there. He still needed a bit of help from his dad though. They found the sticker part of the board a bit difficult to place properly. The tool for the wheels worked well for the socket piece but wasn't quite as effective for the screwdriver. Once together my boys enjoyed pretending their fingers were riding on the boards. I personally didn't quite "get it" but that's why these are toys for kids! My sons said to give these a four star review because of the assembly difficulty only. Time will tell how much these hold their interest but for now they're having fun!
Tech deck lets you build your board
My boys loved to build the boards and play with them. The youngest found the screws a bit to small so really stick with the age for that part. I love the creative ways my boys have played with tech deck.
