All the rage in Europe.

I purchased these in Europe these summer... (they are crazy popular there!) and very much so enjoy them.
They hold my thick hair in place tightly and look playful. The variety of colors help me match my outfit too (yes, i'm one of those). However, in Canadian dollars or in Euros, they are still rather pricy for something to just hold your hair up.

Hair with no Crimp

I recently purchased the telephone cord hair Elastics from Claire's they cost 8.99 for 4 large coils in different colours. I heard that it was suppose to hold your hair up without making the elastic crimp in it. Me having curly hair I thought "lets try these". They are made with good quality plastic and do not seem to be easy to break. They stretch well and go back to their shape pretty good. The no crimp I was promised, for me I had a crimp with dry hair and not dry hair. I also am not impressed with their hair holding abilities. I had to keep fixing my hair bun and pony tail because my hair kept slipping and loosening. Lets just say I will probably not purchase this type of hair elastics again and just stick to the regular elastic saving myself 8.99. The do come in pretty colours and can be worn comfortably around your wrist.
