Makes perfect pie crust every time.
I have tried making pie crust using butter, i have tried with shortening and with lard. Out of them all I find pie crust made with tenderflake lard is the best. It makes a decadently flaky pie crust every time. When it comes to pastries Tenderflake lard is my number one choice.
Makes great crust!
Just used to make crust to make my Tourtieres!. the recipe on the package is my go to all the time. It never fails me. I use the same recipe to make what we call in french Petes de Soeurs, or nun's farts..which is a pinwheel dessert with brown sugar, cinnamon and butter.!! :)
great pastry
I buy Tenderflake lard to put into my pie pastry recipe. It makes the pastry light and fluffy and easy to roll out. It comes with a measurement guide on the box which is helpful too,
