While this would be great for a kid's room there are plenty of us adults who want to live in an Alice in Wonderland style forest with toadstools lighting our path. Ok, maybe not that many, but I absolutely love this little light. Lookswise, I knew it'd be hit. Especially lit up in red, it looks just like a cute little mushroom. But what I didn't count on is how handy it is.

Us adults know the pain of struggling to reach a tricky lamp switch on our bedside table. Because this is cordless, it's perfect for setting a nice softly glowing mood to get from the light switch to the bed and it's easy to turn off.

The light settings can be changed by double tapping to change the duration of time each color stays lit. The first indicator light on the base is for charging and the further three indicate which duration setting it's on. To turn it off, simply hold the main button until it goes off.

The negatives for this lamp are that the silicone cover gets dirty very easily (as is the way with silicone) and secondly that it can be hard to get the mushroom shape if you don't know how. Start folding at the very edges, but be careful not to pull down too far or your mushroom will have awkward edges.

I've had it running about a whole night straight so far and it doesn't need charged yet. It charged very quickly on first use too. I like that the base is very classic and neat (not cheap looking at all.)

Protip: Don't panic if you make a dent in it, it will reinflate in a second and you can start altering the shape again.
