Great price with a lot of pieces!

I’ve had really positive experiences with the toys I’ve got from Battat in the past and while the quality on these is a tad lower than I’d expect, there’s no doubt in my mind it’s worth it. Given the price for this big bucket, you get the bucket, a whole bunch of jungle animals, huge amount of fence and some trees. It’s 60 pieces all in, so the current price is really good, even at dollar store quality. This is definitely higher quality than dollar store, but like many mass produced pieces, there’s definitely some points where the paint hasn’t been done perfectly. It could be a fun project to fix this, but most kids won’t even care.

Given the large amount you get, this is a brilliant kit for a child (3+) who doesn’t have any animals or needs more. These fit in perfectly with other make-believe dolls and sets, or can even be used for crafts as well. The size of the animals is not always accurate when compared to each other, but there are also some fairly impressive large pieces, like the elephant, in there.

They give you a ton of fence and it’s pretty flimsy, but extremely easy to link together and take apart. One of my big concerns was fitting everything in the bucket when finished and while I was able to make it fit, I do wish the bucket was just an inch or two bigger. Kids have a tendency to throw everything in without thinking, so having it fit even when they do that, would be ideal.

All in, just a few minor flaws, but well worth it for this price. It’ll make an amazing addition or starter pack to any make-believe toy section.
