This cup is perfect for on the go in the car or for the workplace. I use mine primarily for cold drinks and the ice stays frozen in the glass for hours. The different designs, sizes, and accessory options, makes the cup a trendy commodity. The slide spout on lid does not make it spill proof or sealed, so it can not be put in purse or bag without it leaking. It is a nice option for younger kids in the house as it moves away from sippy cups but still won't break like a glass will. Fad or not it is useful and my retailer, a home store, always has accessories and spare tops, etc on display. For the price you are getting a good quality, well insulated cup that makes a statement. Worth the money!
