It's ridiculous! It rapidly descends from sort of funny, to out-and-out bizarre. And on and on it goes.....for 400 agonizing pages! Alternating chapters chronicle Allan's life and Allan has had an interesting life, to say the least. He's met with numerous political leaders and has been a major player in world history. And I admit, I did learn some history here, but the story is convoluted and the characters are wafer thin. It's just too far-fetched for me, to unbelievable with too much politics. I'm glad it's over, but 2 stars because of the history learned.
