I got this book frm the library. Its a great reference guide. It has every product on the market and critiques them based on individual needs. It compares drugstore brands and boutique brands. Its great to see products that I should try and avoid. The only disadvantage is that products change constantly, there are always new ones coming in, so you have to be upto date with the book (there are several for different years)

This book changed my skin. It is a complete break down of what is good and bad in the beauty products we use.
Scientific proof of what works and doesn't work, all with out having to read all the journals. This book opened my eyes wide to the makeup industry. I leave it by my bed and read it now and then just to remind myself.

It is avail at Chapters and Amazon, but I got it for free with an order I placed online. The author has a skin care line, that only uses ingredients that are safe for the skin. She also has another book, which rates other products based on their ingredients and user testing.
