The Boat who wouldn't float by Farley Mowat was awseome .couldn't stop reading it....Another book by Farley Mowat.... that i really enjoyed was Never Cry Wolf . back in late 70's and 80's in Newfoundland we had read those novels for school . then write exam .

Excellent book, my wife and I both read it together and have read 4 more Mowat books after finishing this one. An author that will be truly missed imo. Buy and read it to the kids they will like it too.
