Eco friendly!

I absolutely adore all food scented bath and body products and The Body Shop has all sorts of them. When I was shopping at their store one day I came across their Banana Shampoo. I was a bit hesitant at first, thinking that a banana scented shampoo could be a bit nasty but thankfully I opened the sample bottle and took a sniff. Then I grabbed a bottle for myself and rushed to the checkout! I could not wait to get home and use it!

The shampoo smells just like bananas. Actually, more like a banana baby food. Either way it's a light banana scent and in no way overwhelming. It also does not seem to linger on your hair after you use it, which was sort of a bummer to discover.

As a shampoo it works very well, even on my thick hair. It is great for all hair types and cleans oily and sweaty hair wonderfully without drying.

I definitely recommend this awesome shampoo, especially when used with The Body Shop's other banana products!

It smells just like bananas 🍌 so great for those who love fruity scents. It’s good for dry hair. I like to use it after swimming. I’d recommend it and will definitely repurchase.

Great scent

I love this trio but I do find the shampoo a little drying. This can be combatted by using both the conditioner and the mask. Does remove hair colour gradually. (Great if you’re looking for this effect)

Nice natural shampoo

My hair is pretty long and it can get frizzy / a bit brittle after shampooing, but my bangs get oily really quickly so I'm picky about using shampoo that doesn't dry out my hair. The banana shampoo is a kind of small bottle so I don't think I would buy it at full price. I recommend picking it up during a sale (which the Body Shop has really frequently). It's yellow colored and has a kind of gooey consistency but smells great and lathers really well.

This is a staple!

I’ve purchased redken and many expensive hairdresser products to have only wasted my $$ and been disappointed. My hair is *extremely oily & greasy* and with this shampoo & conditioner combo I can make it to through a second day, using dry shampoo. It smells absolutely fantastic. The packaging is a little difficult as it’s short and stubby and would benefit from being taller and narrower but that’s minor. The cost is what I would consider average at 11.50 CAD plus tax per bottle and using on a BOGO sale of some kind.

I bought this through a reccomendation, and I was not disappointed, it smells amazing, you do not need a lot, it lathers really well, 10 dollars is a little more than I usually would spend on a bottle this size, but I will look for it on sale next time.

Smells amazing! Made my hair shiny. The my hair smelt like the shampoo for the throughout the day. A little goes a long way, but if other people are using it, the bottle will get done quicker.

besides the amazing delicious banana scent, this product lathers so great. I have long hair and a dollar size amount lathers perfectly in my hair making it so soft & silky to touch. great product, the only thing would be the price is a tad expensive for the size of the bottle, but i tend to only buy it (stock up) when the body shop has the buy 3 get 3 sale.

Love this shampoo, it has such a strong banana smell, which I love and it super rich, creamy. It leaves the hair feeling soft and manageable especially for someone with long hair. The amount of product needed to shampoo long hair is not a lot so a little goes a long way.

I love the smell of this product and works well fro my hair but nothing really special. I still got a dry scalp in the winter so I had to switch to the ginger shampoo. But in the summer, it worked well. It was $10.00 a bottle which is a little more expensive than what it was worth even though it is all natural ingredients. I would only re-purchase it was on sale.
