Good hydration, but little visible effect
I got this sample (7 ml) a couple of months ago. I have been using it for weeks now. The serum-like concentrate smells good and provides decent hydration, but it's not anti-age. It reminds me of Vichy Mineral 89, but in a different format. Considering the price, I would buy something more hydrating/nourishing instead.
i use it all the time
I love this and I use it all the time! I have wrinkles around my eyes and this helps to get rid of them and it leaves your skin really soft. im only 21 so i dont have wrinkles other than around my eyes, but its been working good so far around my eye area for getting rid of wrinkles and preventing new wrinkles!
Not for me
I received a sample when I bought some body butter last fall. I found the sample hard to gauge it's effectiveness because it was a super small amount, but was intrigued from the positive reviews that I went and back later and bought a bottle.
The liquid is fine and oily and you only need a couple of small drops to cover your face or target area. I found it has a super mild, if any scent to it and found it to be gentle, I did not suffer from any breakouts while using it.
My skin absorbed it really well and it did not leave an oily feel after applied, my skin felt smooth. After continued use my skin felt refreshed and hydrated, I had some dry skin on and around my nose and this oil moisturized it and within a couple of days it was gone. For me, I didn't get the wow factor, I didn't notice any visible signs while using the entire bottle over the course of a couple of months besides my skin being soft, smooth and moisturized. I don't think any 'new' fine lines appeared on my face which is good, but also, the few that I do have around my eyes and close to my mouth were still there and didn't appear to become any fainter or lessen. I most likely won't buy this again, it didn't do anything amazing for my skin that I don't already get from other products I currently use.
Love it
I love all the products from the Body Shop. This is a must in my daily face routine. My constant repurchase. Make my whole face feel so soft and hydrated.
This is a great product
I bought this to benefit my skin and I was told to use it on scars as well. And it definitely does the trick. The price of it is pretty good too! I recommend.
Great facial serum for dry skin and large pores
I was skeptical at first when I went to the Body Shop to pick up my free trial bottle and hearing the sales woman raving about how good it is for dry skin. After having used it regularly for almost a week now I'm very happy with how soft and smooth my face feels. The pores around my nose and cheeks look much smaller and I haven't broken out like I usually do. Hopefully I can purchase a bottle when it goes on sale!
It's okay?
I've used two bottles of DOY last year and it was just okay. It didn't do any harm on my skin but I didn't see the amazing results other users have been experiencing. It is a shame because the price point and availability is accessible. I think the only benefit I got from this serum is how my face is smoother from the serum but it didn't have any other benefits. I will have to pass on this serum.
No Results
Gel like serum that I used for 2 weeks and saw no results. Sticky consistency and felt tight on my face for a long time after. My lines did not seem smaller and my pores did not seem smaller.
Pricey but great product
I usually get this when there is a sale for half off and I would buy lots. It is expensive but it works that is why I stock up during sale.
I have been using it for months now and noticed a difference. My skin is softer and smoother.
Bright eyes
I purchased The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Eye Concentrate because it was on sale and was looking for an eye treatment. I'm always reluctant to try new eye creams and after a few weeks of using it I didn't really see much difference. My kids on the other hand asked what new face "stuff" I was using and not thinking of the eye concentrate said nothing new. They kept saying you look so young lately and bright eyed. That's when it clicked that I've been using The Body Shop Youth Eye Concentrate and was so excited to see that it was working and others noticed. So yes, I will definalty keep using it and making it a daily part of my morning routine. No more dark circles for this tired mama!
