I had the opportunity to try Nutriganics Smoothing Serum through ChickAdvisor. I have crows feet and laugh lines and am in my early 30's. Product says just to apply in an upward, circular motion. May be be used morning and evening before moisturizing. I had not heard of babassu oil before for a key ingredient.

I like that it is eco-certified as an organic cosmetic. I have been using the serum for a couple weeks. The product was light on my skin and had a bit of a creamy texture. I haven't been good about using it twice a day, just in the mornings. I do feel that it has made my skin look more supple and thus diminishing the appearance of lines on my face. It has kind of a woodsy smell that doesn't last long. It was fun to learn about this product and look forward to continue using it.

I received this product as part of the review club. At the beginning when it first goes one it's a bit too liquidy.. but once it absorbs, it feels like velvet. It's non-greasy and very light weight. They tell you to moisturize after you apply it, with your own moisturizer but I just use that. I find it good as a base for make up as it leaves the skin supple and ready. I have not tried the product enough times to know if it does what it claims, but will update this review when I am finished with the bottle.

The bottle is a nice size for a serum product, and the pump is also helpful to dispense the needed amounts.

I received this product from the Product Review Club to give a try. It is a lightweight serum with an amazingly refreshing scent. It comes in a wonderful pump dispenser for ease of use.

I did not find the product to be greasy of sticky on the skin or on my hands. It appeared to be somewhat thinner than some other serums currently on the market and had a wonderful moisturizing feel. I do not have extremely ddep lines, but have begun to notice the thin lines I do have to be lighter and lighter in texture.

I recommend this product for anyone wanting a lightweight serum that feels great going on the skin, and once on, you will forget that you are even wearing anything becasue it is so lightweight.

THE REAL SCOOP

Nutriganics is a certified organic skin care range with over 95% of its ingredients meeting the certification standard set by ECOCERT, which The Body Shop apparently took two years to develop this range.

In terms of efficacy, I tried it for a while day and night to really give it a fair shake. The texture is very light and easily absorbable, with a light scent. The nice thing about the texture is that it does not leave an oily sheen or sticky film. By soaking into the skin, it feels like my skin is hydrated and fine lines fade away. There also appears to be a slight brightening effect on my complexion, although that is not an advertised effect.

The Nutriganics Smoothing Serum is meant to be used in conjunction with the rest of your skincare products (see my tips below), and I found that as a base prior to applying moisturizer it was very effective. I have used serums from other lines (from drugsstore to department store), and this product was gentle enough that it didn't break me out. Richer serums from competitors have a tendency of adding unwanted shine or sit on top of the skin too thickly. The light texture spreads easily, so you don't need much each time and is particularly appropriate for warmer spring/summer weather. In terms of application, the product is distributed via a pump, which is hygenic and easy to use. The only downside is that the container is opaque so you cannot tell how much product is left, but that is a small thing.

USAGE TIPS:

Cleanse skin to remove make-up, use toner to refresh skin and refine pores. Apply a thin layer of Smoothing Serum to the skin to hydrate. Follow with moisturizer (day and evening), use an eye cream around the eyes to reduce fine lines/wrinkles.

BOTTOM LINE:

This is a high-quality product that appears to work, both in hydrating skin and fading the initial signs of fine lines. Bonus marks for being organic! Price point is reasonable - although there is not too much product in each package, a little does go a long way. Bottom line, I would re-purchase this product.

I received this product from the review club (thank-you) and i was very pleased with the results. I am not saying it's a product that will take away or disapear into space your fine lines but it does really help making them less obvious.
The bottle, even though is very small (30 ml) it still goes a long way. It only takes a small amount per use and with a pump, it also really helps in controlling the amount you take each time.
The product itself is very liquid and smell really nice. I am usually used to serum that is thicker but was still very pleased using this one.
Overall i notice small lines less noticeable and my face wasnt greasy after using this product. I would recommend buying this product.

I received this product from the review club. The product is nice and compact, so its great to take in your handbag or when you are on vacation. The pump is great, and when you use it, it only gives you a pea size, which is all you really need. The serum is light weight and great for the summer. I am not a real fan of the fragrance, however the fragrance disappears quickly after the application.

The product seems to be somewhat effective. I find that this also works with people who have scars due to acne.. so I would recommend this product.

I received The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Serum as part of the Product Review Club. I liked that this product was lightweight, which is really nice in the summer when I don't want a heavy thick moisturizer. The smell was very fresh and clean, it did not have a heavy scent which I liked. You are meant to use this moisturizer between cleansing and using your regular moisturizer. I personally like using a product that is all in one (has spf, anti aging, and moisturization all in one cream). If you have dry skin this product may help, it really made my skin soft. I also like Body Shop products because they are all natural. I am in my late 20's and I like products such as these that soften fine lines without being too heavy.

I love Body Shop products, so was excited to get to try something new from them from the product review club. I like the product, it's easy to use, love the pump bottle, that puts out just enough, so no wasting it. I'm not thrilled with the scent, but it goes underneath your moisturiser, so I don't notice it once I've put that on. It does a great job of keeping my skin soft (more than my normal moisturiser), and softening the lines around my eyes, and at the sides of my mouth (all smile lines of course!).

I'd recommend it, as it does a good job, and doesn't break the bank.

I received this product from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. The product itself is a good, lightweight serum with a refreshing scent. I also like the packaging as it comes in a pump dispenser.

The consistency of this product is more watery than other serums that I have tried, however, it does add extra moisture. I personally prefer serums that are heavier weight as I find that these are more effective at reducing the appearance of fine lines.

If you're looking for a light weight serum that will provide a bit more moisture in a refreshing scent I would suggest that you give this product a try.
