Available in two shades, brown and black, this mascara promises (and delivers) maximum volume! My lashes are already super long, so I like to give them a little extra volume and skip using an eyelash curler. Applying at the root, I wiggled the brush upwards in many small strokes to build up density at the lash line.
It’s a traditional wire brush, which I find enjoyable and provides really intense colour. It’s a bit pricey, set at $18 but The Body Shop has a lot of sales so I feel like you can find this one at a decent discount. The only real problem that I had with this mascara was a bit of transfer from my lashes to my skin before the mascara has a chance to fully dry. The formula is quite wet, so it requires a little extra dry time. It’s worth it though, because the end result are beautiful, full doll-like lashes. Doesn’t clump if you follow the many small strokes application rule. It’s not water resistant, but I don’t tend to sway that way anyways because I always find them hard to remove.
Meh. I found this was clumpy on my lashes even with sparse application, and the tube was dry in no time. I received this as a gift, and will not go out of my way to purchase myself.
I already have long and thick natural lashes, but I love BIG and EXTRA long lashes and this mascara gives me that! It was about $16, and generally speaking I don't really mind spending that much on a product that is cruelty free! I'd say it's worth it.
As far as the brush... It works well and I didn't have any issues with clumping.
The actual formula, I liked! It didn't dry out quickly, like a lot of my cheaper ones did.
I got this mascara as part of a promotional deal at The Body Shop and so I expected greatness. Instead, I got an expensive mascara that worked worse than the drug store version I can pay half price for. While the initial application of the mascara was impressive, I found soon after that it dried up and was clumpy within a week of use. The only good thing is that it doesn't flake. Not happy!
