Body shop vitamin E
I usually buy body creme from body shop, but I feel Shea butter works really well for my skin then vit E. it is not working well for my skin however it smells divine. I would recommend this product from someone who does not have a dry skin.
The scent is too strong for me to have tried it very long. It's an ok moisturizer, but nothing special, in my opinion. I got a small pot in a boxing day sale bag, and was happy to have the opportunity to try it, to confirm that it's not the right fit for me. I have very sensitive skin, and the fragrance irritates my skin.
I have been using this moisturizer as a cream for my tattoo while it is healing. I like that it doesn't have a scent, and that it is light while still maintaining a good level of hydration for my healing skin. The presence of the vitamin E leads me to believe it helps my skin to heal, but I don't know if that is a legit claim or not.
I tried this product about a year ago and I was sorely disappointed. The moisturizer caused a burning sensation on my face and made patched of my skin red and flakey, even though I was told in store that Vitamin E would be great for my sensitive skin.
For the price, I can't recommend this moisturizer. It's very heavy and dense and feels that way on your face. I found it left my face feeling greasy. I have combination skin and even the dry areas of my face were greasy...but with dry patches. I used this moisturizer for about two weeks so my skin could adjust but it never did.
Really disappointed in the lack of quality ingredients in this! Because of this I prefer to use 100% vitamin e oil instead of this. I was so close to keeping this cream, but in the end returned it. Just wasn't worth the amount I paid.
This will be the last product I buy from the Body Shop, as I have yet to purchase any type of moisturizer that fulfilled its claim. The products have lovely scents and textures, but that is not enough to cover up the fact that there is no moisture being given to the skin.
I was very disappointed with this cream. It is very thick and greasy and so it made my face shiny. It blocked my pores and made me breakout. It also irritated my eyes and left a burning sensation. Maybe my skin is sensitive but I would not recommend this product. The only upside it that it has a wonderful smell.
It's not the BEST moisturizer I've ever tried, but it's definitely not the worst. It goes on pretty well onto the face but I found that the moisture didn't last too too long.
I had read the reviews on this cream/lotion and was very excited to try it. My face gets dry in the winter and I knew i needed more moisture.
The first two days were great, my skin felt supple, and not at all dry. Then I woke up on the third morning with a rash all over my face. Not completely chapped, but definitely bumpy. It was a bit painful too, mostly just itchy.
I stopped using it right away, luckily Body Shop has an exchange policy for when their products make you break out.
I was really dissapointed though. I like the smell and the texture a lot. Oh well, on to the next one, I guess.
